## Why storage.to?

- **25GB Free, Not 100MB**: As of September 2026, Hightail's free Lite plan sends files up to 100MB, and 25GB needs the Pro plan at $12/month billed annually. storage.to sends files up to 25GB each for free.
- **No Signup on Either Side**: Hightail Lite is an account you sign up for. storage.to needs no account to send, and your recipient never needs one to download.
- **Password and Expiry on the Free Plan**: Add a password and choose an expiry from 1 to 7 days on any free upload. Premium, from $5/month, keeps files permanently.
- **Fast Downloads Everywhere**: Downloads are served from Cloudflare's global network, with no throttling on any plan.

## How It Works

1. **Upload** - Drag your file onto storage.to, up to 25GB. No account needed.
2. **Protect It** - Add a password and pick how long the link should last.
3. **Share the Link** - Send the link to your client or collaborator by email or chat.

## Perfect For

- **Creative Agencies**: Deliver finished artwork, video and print files to clients without paying per seat.
- **Files Over 100MB**: Send files well over Hightail Lite's 100MB limit without upgrading.
