Which file types aren't accepted?

Short answer

Almost everything is accepted. The exceptions are Windows executables (.exe, .scr, .com, .pif) and, temporarily, Android and iOS app installers (.apk, .ipa).

Why

Executables made up most of the malware we removed. App installers were blocked in August 2026 after a group used storage.to to spread malicious Android apps. They'll be accepted again once we can scan them properly.

Archives (.zip, .rar, .7z), other installers (.msi, .dmg, .pkg), video, audio, images, documents and everything else are fine.
